The Level II UTT/MT/PT Technician will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, must be able to interpret and evaluate results using codes, standards and specifications. The Level II Technician will conduct non-destructive examinations and evaluations for acceptance or rejection based on procedures. Must be able to provide current or prior copies of certifications in methods as well as classroom documentation. Will be required to test out with CFS in order to be certified.
Roles & Responsibilities: Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management. Responsible for all paperwork to be submitted in a timely manner. Inspect and interpret readings to determine areas of interest. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and professionalism. Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications, codes, and standards. Always apply safe work practices and abide by the requirements of safe operation and personal safety.
Education, Skills & Experience:  Ability to be certified in accordance with CFS written practice in the following methods: UTT/MT/PT. Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite of Products. Knowledge of Industry Codes (ASME, AWS, API, ASNT, ASTM). Knowledge of NDT equipment and ability to effectively perform assigned NDT inspections. Ability to set up and standardize equipment, interpret and evaluate findings in compliance with required specifications, standards and/or customer specifications. Exhibit honesty and sound judgement. Must be able to multi-task and adjust to stressful work situations as needed by the client. Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products. Willing to work with others in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to be a team player. Minimum of 2+ years of NDT experience. Must be able to provide documentation of prior training, experience and/or certifications.
